Let's Go After The Heart of the Matter.

Volunteers do not necessarily have the time, they just have the heart.

A Piece of My Heart Foundation has partnered with Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) to provide Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to all of its Middle Schools, including maintenance and CPR training. This $21,000+ donation will impact over 3,800 students plus hundreds of staff and administration personnel.

Further, A Piece of My Heart Foundation is currently funding a CPVT Research Coordinator for the Pediatric and Congenital Electrophysiology Society (“PACES”), which is the largest collection of international patients from the pediatric electrophysiology community, and the largest society of pediatric heart rhythm specialists in the world!

The registry is yielding some important results in how to provide the best care of patients with a diagnosis of CPVT, both in terms of which beta blockers appear to be most effective, and soon to be published, analysis of whether patients with CPVT, who never had a cardiac arrest, should receive an implantable defibrillator.

Upon the unexpected death of our 14-year-old daughter, Morgan Danielle Manning, our family immediately felt like a piece of our heart was missing, yet we needed to turn this tragic heartbreaking experience into a way to make a difference in the lives of others.

Thank you for partnering with us to save lives.

Kerwin, Madelyn, and Madison Manning.

We can make a difference together!

A Piece Of My Heart Foundation is a non-profit organization established in honor of our beloved daughter, Morgan Manning. Morgan went to Heaven on April 8, 2017 due to a rare heart condition called CPVT. Although she had this condition she lived a life full of joy and was doing well. We were totally devastated by her sudden death and knew immediately that we wanted to commit the rest of our lives to bringing awareness to Catecholaminergic Polymorphic Ventricular Tachycardia, also known as CPVT. We encourage you today to help us support in preventing other families from experiencing what we already have.

This is one of the simplest ways to help out our cause. We believe the best way for our initiatives to be successful is for the community to actively get involved. This is an easy and efficient way of contributing to the great work we do at A Piece Of My Heart Foundation. Get in touch with any questions about how you can Volunteer Your Time today.
